About Cathy....
| Cathy was born, Cathy Dawn Sessi, in
the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She moved "south" to
attend North Carolina State University, where she majored in Physics...and
where she met and married her husband, Keith, of 35+ years. Later, she
earned a BS degree in Mathematics at East Tennessee State University, and
a MS in Education from the University of South Carolina. Successfully juggling a career in education while raising two sons, Brad and Brian, Cathy was selected South Carolina's State Teacher of the Year for 1995. Later in 1995, Cathy moved to southern Spain with her husband and son, Brian. The opening of her book, The Life of the Cross, takes place in Spain. Today, Cathy and Keith live in the north Georgia mountains where they enjoy early retirement and all of the "typical" pleasures of retired/mountain life including activities through Big Canoe Chapel, Habitat for Humanity, decorating, writing, and....especially ... the joys of two wonderful sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and four delightful grandsons. |
